Hello! I am Maria Maksakova. Born in the northern city of Murmansk.

In 2018 I moved to Kemi, Finland. I devote my leisure time to drawing, which has captivated my interest since early childhood. In my art works, I like to use different techniques, such as watercolour, acrylic, soft pastel, as well as different graphic materials. I get my inspiration from the nature of the north. 

The nature of the Lapland is the main motive in my art. Through my paintings, I would like to acquaint people with the beauty of the
North and let them feel its spirit.
